1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and tracking pixels. They make a site work, remember your choices or measure how the site is used.
2. How the Site uses them
We group what we use into four categories. Only the essential category works without your consent.
Essential (always active)
- vm-consent-v1: localStorage, 12 months. Stores your cookie choice so that we do not ask again.
- vm-chat-session: sessionStorage, deleted when you close the browser. A random identifier that keeps an assistant conversation together.
- Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm, cf_clearance): up to 30 minutes / 1 year. Bot filtering and protection of the forms; set by our hosting provider.
Preferences (with consent)
- Remembering the assistant conversation on this device as you move between pages.
Analytics (with consent)
- _ga and _ga_*: 13 months. Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Anonymous statistics about pages, devices and approximate location, used to understand which products visitors look for.
Marketing (with consent)
- Google Ads conversion cookies (_gcl_au, 90 days): measure whether a visit that started from an advertisement led to a contact request.
- Meta Pixel (_fbp, 90 days): the same measurement for Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Analytics and marketing tags are loaded only after you accept them. The identifiers for these tools are configured only once the company confirms them; until then the categories appear in the banner, but no third-party script runs.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
The Site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice, all Google storage types (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to "denied". Your choice updates them, and Google's tools respect that state.
4. Changing your choice
Open "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your consent. The banner shows your current choice. You can also delete cookies and site data from your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each offer a "Clear browsing data" or "Manage website data" option.
